If you are wondering where was your youngest son tonight, he was here with me, having dinner, and later went online to update his blog.
We didn't have anything special for dinner, but he finished 3 plates of rice! *grin*
I just made vegetable tom yam, bought ikan patin masak asam pedas, sayur kangkong, lampong goreng bercili and, yes Ma, our favourite, no, not Azan's favourite, but yours and mine *grin* - rebung masak lemak cili api! yum!
There are still leftovers of the rebung masak lemak cili api, since I am about the only one eating it, so, I am having that again for dinner tommorow night! *grin*

yumm.. rebung...
It is yummy! Can you get that at Chinatown?
Thank you nun for feeding my youngest son.Yummy! yummy!
not sure china market selling rebung or not... the oriental store here is not that organized, so you really need to know what you're looking for or you'll spend so much time looking for it.. And then communication is a big issue, it's easier if you know the chinese terms. Heheh..
btw, glad to know Azan could now eat varieties of food, not just his favorite beef... heheh.. Sarah & Farhan still refer to it as 'daging Uncle Zan' :P
hehe..Eli, he did not touch the rebung masak lemak cili api. *grin*
He ate rice with veggies, my tom yam soup and lampong goreng bercili, but yet he could eat 3 whole plates of rice! Hostel food still has not changed over the years! LOL!
He said they mostly serve fish, so, that explains why he was so into it when I served lampong. *grin*
Chinatown sure to stock cans of young bamboo shoots.
