Weekend deprived

I am weekend deprived this week. I feel like I didn't have time to rest at all last week and this week. I have so far been working 12 days straight non-stop with no rest day.

I posted in my blog earlier that I was attending a Senior Architects' meeting which ran from Saturday evening to Monday afternoon. I did not get much sleep with workshops running past 11.00pm every night, and having to wake up early the next day for the meetings.

I was back in the office on Tuesday, and went for a building inspection under construction, going from floor to floor, room by room. I felt like I was going to fall flat on my face at any time.

I was going dazed from lack of sleep and too much staring at the computer screen to ensure that project reports are updated regularly as our project monitoring system is live and any delay will cause the screen to blink RED. I think I am looking like a zombie. LOL!

I am glad that the weekend is finally here, but I still won't be able to sleep in tomorrow as it is my son's sports day, and we have to be in school by 7.15am! Oh well!

However, I am looking forward to see Aiman in the race. He is in only one event this year. After that, we plan to do some shopping for necessary things. It's been a very long time since I went shopping together with my hubby and son. I am looking forward to it.

I am hoping for a fruitful and productive day tomorrow, and a weekend for a much needed rest.

Another thing I wouldn't want to miss over this weekend is to see this couple perform at tomorrow night's 5th Akademi Fantasia concert! *wink*

It was cute at the way Aril reacted on being told that Marsha is his duet partner. LOL!

I am looking forward to seeing all the couples perform tomorrow night as Sarimah promised a night of surprises! The best surprise would be if AC Mizal is no longer hosting the concert! LOL! *wink*

Nik,

Tonight is the first time I'm following the concert completely. For the past few weeks, I only watched part of the concerts.

I just hate the way AC Mizal screams at the top of his voice. Why can't he talk at normal volume/pitch like the rest of us??
